Our values are quality, integrity and professionalism.
As a member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ), our industry’s governing body, Shine adheres to the PRINZ code of ethics, which help guide our behaviour and decision-making processes. We also support our local chapter to deliver networking opportunities for PRINZ members.
To support our regional client base, we have active memberships with the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Tauranga and Rotorua Chambers of Commerce. We are also a member of Priority One (the Western Bay of Plenty’s economic development organisation), the Business Women’s Network and the Rotorua Tourism Industry Partnership.
We like to keep up with the play so all of our team regularly attend industry workshops and trainings held by PRINZ, the Sustainable Business Council, Commercial Communications Council, universities and others, as well as keeping up to date with the specific industries our clients work in – from horticulture through to geothermal resources, sustainability and more.
We have a range of tourism clients which has led us to join the Tourism Industry Aotearoa, who advocates to ensure tourism gets recognised as a vital contributor to New Zealand’s economic and social wellbeing.
We also like to give back to our communities – our team are on a range of boards throughout the Bay of Plenty, we annually donate to The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal Food Drive, participate in the Pink Walk for Breast Cancer Research and provide discounted rates to not-for-profit organisations and small local businesses within our local communities.
