After months of hard mahi behind the scenes, Toi Kai Rawa officially launched its new Māori development strategy at an event at Mount Maunganui.
The Toi Kai Rawa whānau unveiled a range of amazing kaupapa, focusing on mobilising the region’s rangatahi (youth), pakihi Māori (Māori businesses) and ahumahi Māori (Māori workforce), while strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders. They also announced their visionary governance board, as well as a new brand identity that captures its values and aspirations.
“Our purpose is to awaken, weave and incubate solutions to ignite Māori economies in the wider Bay of Plenty,” says Toi Kai Rawa.
